Portrait Society of America International Competition

"The Twilight Hour" won the Exceptional Merit Award.

I was also awarded Best Portfolio.

Over 1750 paintings were entered into the competition.

M Gallery of Fine Art Group Invitational

Two paintings, "Palms" and "Lover's Key" will be featured in "Private Spaces" Group Invitational at M Gallery of Fine Art in Charleston, SC from May 6 - MAY 31, 2011. Both were painted en plein air in Florida.

Harper College: 34th Annual National Juried Art Exhibition

My Painting "Icon" will be featured in "Small Works", an exhibition at Harper College in Palatine , IL. The exhibition runs from March 21, 2011 until April 20, 2011.

Stetson University 2011 Distinguished Alumni Award

The Pastel Journal's 12th Annual Pastel 100 Competition

"Nadirah" received Honorable Mention in the 12th Annual Pastel 100 Competition and will be featured in the April 2011 issue of The Pastel Journal. The painting was completed during a recent sketch group.

Two paintings, "Rose" and "Grapes", will be exhibited from February 11 until February 25, 2011 at the Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio, TX.
